Students were engaged in finding patterns and gained more confidence in multiplying. Even students who might shy away or avoid math were engaged in constructing their chart. They saw patterns in factoring and divisibility. The multiplication chart they made replicated chart used in the game Prime Climb. \r\nOnce charts were made, we played the board game Prime Climb. After all their work, explaining how to play the game was simple. Students were excited to play the colorful board game which they understood right away. They quickly developed strategies to help them reach the end game goal of arriving at 101. \r\nWhen students complete their math work and have a bit of free time, they reach for the Prime Climb board games your generosity so kindly provided our classes.
