Our school has about 400 students, pre-school through fifth grader. These schools have a wide range of ethnic/cultural backgrounds. We also have a large population of military children who have parents deployed overseas. Most of our students have no extended family living in their area to help out. Living in Alaska has many perks but it also leaves families without support from extended family that live thousands of miles away in the Lower 48.

About my class
