We moved out of our old school and into a new-to-us school. Our library needed some updating. The tables we had were very large, super heavy, and not up-to-date. They are on wheels so it is easy for us to set up for various meetings, classes, events, etc. We are so grateful to have these nice tables that really updated the library. We have a baby pool filled with blue water and the two floating fountains from the project are working so well! We have our milkweed plants in a planter next to the fountain. We have painted the insect habitats and the students are able to take one home each and three are left for the garden space. The solitary bee habitat is also there and we were able to share three of the set with other teachers for their spaces.\r\n\r\nSo far, we have learned about pollinators, solar energy, watercolor painting, Monarch butterflies and so much more just from the materials that you purchased for our class. It is hard to describe just how far the reach goes. I have a class of kids more engaged, more excited, and more proud of themselves than ever. Our corner is getting so much attention from students and staff! This is all thanks to you! Thank you so much!! Wishing great blessings for you. I should be able to package up a bag of snacks to give to each student on the last day of school so they have a supply of emergency treats for the summer when they lose access to school breakfast and lunch. Some of the students will rely on these in shockingly true need.
