That is the first word that comes to mind when I see the difference your donation has made in my classroom. To have an organized Go-To Supply Station has been a dream of mine. In an old building, it is often hard to work with what we have to make it look like a warm inviting place. Your donations has not only made my room more organized, but it has made it almost a \"cozy corner\" in my room. It stands out so much that now I want to do more to rest of my classroom to make it all brighter and \"homier\". \r\n\r\nThis donation has also saved class time by limiting interruptions. Instead of a student having to raise their hand to request something, and then me stopping class to go get it for them, I can now lay everything out in one station and everyone is free to borrow what they need and then put it back. It is still early in the year, but I am eager to use the art supplies for some upcoming projects. It just looks and feels nice to be so organized without papers and other supplies carelessly put back, or papers flying around the room from their pile. This supply corner has been a ray of sunshine in my room.\r\n\r\nBeing that all these supplies just arrived in the last 2 weeks, my students from previous years come by in awe of how wonderful everything looks and how it changed the aura of the classroom. They are jealous that they did not have this last year. It really is a wonderful thing and relief that I can finally have it. I have no artistic skills, and could probably use the help of an interior designer, however, this project is giving me the motivation to do more now to change and \"brighten up\" the rest of my classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping improve the look and structure of my classroom. Students are constantly coming to my room saying they are hungry. Their eyes light up when I open my drawer and tell them to take what they need. Seeing the relief in their face is so rewarding and uplifting. Once they know about my drawer, they come as when they need to, humbly asking for a snack. I'm blessed to know these students and thankful that I can not only help them, but they are so appreciative that they are not taking advantage of it and hoarding snacks, but really coming when they need it. When they have a friend who didn't get to eat, they bring them to my room and ask if they can have just 1 snack, and I gladly tell them to take what they need. \r\n\r\nSuch a simple bar has a huge impact on a student's mood and day. It also impacts their focus and effectiveness in the classroom. My goal as a teacher is educate as well as care for the whole child, to empower them to be leaders in the future, and to give them the confidence they need to be successful. I am thankful to you with all my heart that you are allowing me to work towards my goal for my students, and alleviating me of a massive financial burden.\r\n\r\nI know my students are extremely thankful for your donation towards these snacks. I am additionally grateful that you allowed me the means to help my students just a little more. The supplies may seem so basic, but the expenses add up. This project has allowed me to replace supplies that I had bought myself when I was a first year teacher, 20 years ago. Many of those supplies had to be thrown out, and those that survived, were holding on by a thread. Others were lent out to other teachers and never returned. The excitement on my students' faces when they realized they no longer have to wait their turn to use one of the 2 scissors I had left, or that we finally had glue sticks that weren't dry, or many other supplies, was just heartwarming to me. The supplies arrived toward the end of the school year, however, they have been very helpful in that short period of time, and more importantly, I am very excited for the start of the new school year and have a vision of how I want to keep things organized from the beginning. I am looking forward to September this year because I am excited to get my new supplies out and ready. It will be like Christmas in September, and I thank you for that sheer excitement. \r\n\r\nMany other supplies, such as the hand sanitizers, air fresheners/sprays, and other similar items have helped me keep my room clean and fresh. Items like tissues, bandaids and others, have helped me take care of smaller issues in my classroom without having to send students out to the bathroom or nurse's office and miss valuable class time. These items are just so practical and beneficial to both my students and myself in numerous ways.\r\n\r\nThe snacks is a big one. My students rely on my snack drawer tremendously. So many times I have students coming and telling me they didn't have money for lunch or didn't have anything at home for breakfast and ask me if I have any food. My heart cannot turn them away. You may or may not believe this, but the snacks are already gone. I am going to create a new project for just snacks because they go so fast and they are a huge expense for me. I am hoping to have my snack drawer stocked and ready for when students arrive in September. Honestly, this project has alleviated me from a huge financial burden, and for that alone, I am beyond grateful. I have a family of my own to take care of, but it is hard to not do what I can for my students who I have always treated as my own kids as well. \r\n\r\nI appreciate you tremendously, my students appreciate you tremendously, and my family appreciates you tremendously because they can now benefit from the money this project saved me. The money I would have spent on these items, I can now use on my husband and children, as I should, and that makes me feel wonderful in so many ways. I am grateful and thank you with all my heart. Your generosity has made it possible for our students—and myself—to explore hands-on learning in a completely new way. For many of us, this is our first real experience with 3D printing, and we're learning together as we go.\r\n\r\nWe've recently completed our first prints, and it's been exciting to see the students so engaged. Most had never seen a 3D printer before, and now they're watching their digital designs take shape right in front of them. The process has sparked curiosity, creativity, and a lot of great questions.\r\n\r\nThis technology is helping all of us build skills in design, problem-solving, and collaboration. I'm learning how to use the design software and printer right alongside the students, and it's been a great way to model how learning is a lifelong process. The students enjoy sharing tips and discoveries with me as much as I do with them.\r\n\r\nIt's been especially rewarding to see some students, who usually stay quiet in other settings, take the lead during our sessions. They've found something that excites them, and it shows in the way they help others and come up with new ideas for what we can create.\r\n\r\nThank you again for giving us the chance to explore this technology. But today I logged in to try to set up a new project and saw that even though it's extremely late, I still had the opportunity to send a thank you. So I want to sincerely thank you with all my heart for making this wish a reality for me and my students. I had taken pictures to send, but again missed the deadline and now I have to try to go back and find them. \r\n\r\nHowever, I want you to know that your donation has given, now hundreds, of students the opportunity to have a fighting chance to level the playing field against the more \"advanced\" schools by simply having the same access to technology as others do. Our inner city schools do not always receive the best of equipment. My classroom calculators were over 15 years old and stopped working. In addition, my classroom sizes had far exceeded the \"class set\" of calculators I was given. Receiving these calculators was like a breath of fresh air. New calculators, WORKING calculators, and enough for every student made it feel like Christmas in my classroom, for both my students and myself. We all appreciate you beyond words. \r\n\r\nStudents are using these graphing calculators to learn tricks and shortcuts to use on timed, state mandated, standardized tests. The calculators are also helping students learn many concepts more efficiently as they help them continue the flow of the concept more quickly. We all truly appreciate you so so much.
