That is the first word that comes to mind when I see the difference your donation has made in my classroom. To have an organized Go-To Supply Station has been a dream of mine. In an old building, it is often hard to work with what we have to make it look like a warm inviting place. Your donations has not only made my room more organized, but it has made it almost a \"cozy corner\" in my room. It stands out so much that now I want to do more to rest of my classroom to make it all brighter and \"homier\". \r\n\r\nThis donation has also saved class time by limiting interruptions. Instead of a student having to raise their hand to request something, and then me stopping class to go get it for them, I can now lay everything out in one station and everyone is free to borrow what they need and then put it back. It is still early in the year, but I am eager to use the art supplies for some upcoming projects. It just looks and feels nice to be so organized without papers and other supplies carelessly put back, or papers flying around the room from their pile. This supply corner has been a ray of sunshine in my room.\r\n\r\nBeing that all these supplies just arrived in the last 2 weeks, my students from previous years come by in awe of how wonderful everything looks and how it changed the aura of the classroom. They are jealous that they did not have this last year. It really is a wonderful thing and relief that I can finally have it. I have no artistic skills, and could probably use the help of an interior designer, however, this project is giving me the motivation to do more now to change and \"brighten up\" the rest of my classroom.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping improve the look and structure of my classroom. Students are constantly coming to my room saying they are hungry. Their eyes light up when I open my drawer and tell them to take what they need. Seeing the relief in their face is so rewarding and uplifting. Once they know about my drawer, they come as when they need to, humbly asking for a snack. I'm blessed to know these students and thankful that I can not only help them, but they are so appreciative that they are not taking advantage of it and hoarding snacks, but really coming when they need it. When they have a friend who didn't get to eat, they bring them to my room and ask if they can have just 1 snack, and I gladly tell them to take what they need. \r\n\r\nSuch a simple bar has a huge impact on a student's mood and day. It also impacts their focus and effectiveness in the classroom. My goal as a teacher is educate as well as care for the whole child, to empower them to be leaders in the future, and to give them the confidence they need to be successful. I am thankful to you with all my heart that you are allowing me to work towards my goal for my students, and alleviating me of a massive financial burden.\r\n\r\nI know my students are extremely thankful for your donation towards these snacks. I am additionally grateful that you allowed me the means to help my students just a little more. They are incredible children who are working hard to overcome their crucial environment to do better for themselves. Your contribution made a meaningful difference for my students.\r\nAlthough our school closed due to COVID-19 while this project was underway, my students were still able to complete their work. Unfortunately, they did not have the opportunity to present their final projects as originally planned. Despite this, the experience itself was incredibly valuable.\r\nStudents worked hard to create a museum exhibit focused on women's suffrage. Throughout the process, they were engaged, creative, and excited to learn. This project allowed them to explore history in a hands-on way, combining research with artistic expression.
