These blazers will give these young women a sense of achievement and status. The blazers will represent a moving up and the completing of specific guidelines in the program. Each young lady will be presented with a blazer for use at cultural events, workshops, empowerment activities, community service events and all school related functions. Women supporting and empowering one another is key to a successful life. Our mission is to turn girls/young women into pearls. Our desire is to encourage, expose and mentor these young ladies until they gain useful tools to navigate as young ladies with dignity, love and respect for themselves and others. OUR GOAL IS THAT THESE YOUNG WOMEN ENTER AS GIRLS AND EXIT AS PEARLS.
