Students performed dances to honor various countries, we had a great DJ, food trucks and more! \r\n\r\nTo prepare for this event, my students researched the history and culture of various countries that they were either interested in visiting or had a personal connection to. Thanks to your support, the displays they created were top-notch! \r\n\r\nWe had over 50 country projects completed!!!! And the event was truly one of the best school-sponsored events I've ever been to. Thanks to your support, we see students taking responsibility for and tracking their own loss of instructional time.\r\n \r\nAs they become more aware of the amount of class time lost, THEY are choosing to make better decisions during our 5 minute class transitions.\r\n\r\nYour contribution continues to help teachers build consistency across our entire campus, and it encourages our students to become more responsible with their time.\r\n\r\nThis initiative has also helped decrease stress among students because the student podiums/Student Empowerment Binder procedures/forms are the same in every classroom. So students only have to learn one procedure...not one for all six classes.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your contribution.
