The musical theater program is brand new at the school. Although we have a wonderful stage, we have no lighting or sound equipment. We need some way to light the stage so the audience can see what is happening. A follow spot is a very simple and basic way to begin building this program. Students who are performing on stage will benefit, however, students will also be taught how to operate the light and we will use students to run the equipment for the performances. Learning how to use new technology is a wonderful skill for students to use and finding a way to combine it with the arts is an added benefit of purchasing this item.
