The alarms are used as reminders for the students to pack up, time to change class, and time to go to the bus. The storage organizer is a huge hit. We keep several school supplies in it to help keep things neat. It also allows students access to supplies they may need. Teaching in a low income district comes with challenges that most of us do not have to face. One of the biggest challenges is making sure that our students are fed and healthy.\r\n\r\nWhen I showed my student the amount of food that got donated to us, they were so excited to know that when they came to my classroom, hungry, there would be food for them to eat. Many students would come in in the morning to get a granola bar or a snack to carry them through until lunch.
