My students are often without technology due to items being damaged or lost. Items taken home may be subjected to being dropped and broken, damaged because of spills or left somewhere accidentally. The protective case will protect their technology from spills and drops. The fact that the device is anchored inside the case and that it stays in the protective case even when students are using it, provides added security from drops and it means that it is less likely to be left somewhere. The case also has a pouch for a student ID, so it can be identified easily.
