Have you ever sat all day in a student desk? Let me tell you, they are hard, unforgiving, and not at all comfy. Because I want my students to identify as readers, I think their comfort as readers is of paramount importance. With this in mind, I have selected 6 durable bean bag chairs so students can be truly comfortable in the hope that this will increase their desire to read which, ultimately, will increase their reading performance goals. The students will rotate the privilege to use the beanbag chairs so that every student who reads in my classroom gets a chance to use them.
