Because we are considered a support class, the children don't come to us with supplies. We also don't get as much money budgeted for supplies. \r\nThese funds allowed us to stock up on basic supplies like paper, crayons, markers, printer ink, etc as well as some fun incentives, like colorful pencils, erasers and stickers.\r\nI find sometimes the little incentives help make a difference for the ELL students as some of them feel like they are missing out on classroom stuff when they come to ELL. When they can return to their room with a new pencil, eraser or even sticker, it can help them feel better about the time they spend in the ELL class.
