I have a half size classroom that I use for servicing ELL students in grades K-5. We also service a lot of the students in their homerooms. Several years ago, based on a recommendation from a ELL Resource Teacher, we purchased iPads for the teachers and PTTs. That way, we could take them wherever we were instructing the students. Being able to add that visual component makes the lessons more effective for the students. English is one of the most difficult languages to learn.
