The materials I have requested will help to foster more independence in my students. My wish list includes many different types of sensory tools to help the students in my classroom/school to regulate themselves when needed. Another huge thing which was cut from our school budget this year is color printing, which may sound trivial but is imperative for students, especially students with severe needs. I use color printing to develop daily visual schedules, print realia pictures to help with communication and many more things in the everyday classroom. All of the items I have placed on my list will be hugely beneficial to helping my students foster independence both here at school and in their everyday lives. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping my students.
