On the day that it arrived, the second graders in my classroom were overjoyed. They all started cheering and lying down on it to try it out! Like they were giving the new rug a great big hug. \r\n\r\nIt's the perfect size for the front of our classroom, providing 30 spaces for young learners to engage with the day's activities and discussions. The squares are roomy enough for all students to sit comfortably. They even bring their notebooks and pencils to the rug at times to solve some problems together and share their strategies.\r\n\r\nThe stars are lovely and the cool tone complements the desks, chairs, and bulletin board borders in the room really well.
