Each week I describe a new college during our school-wide virtual assembly. Students learn about popular studies, fun facts, famous alumni and the various sports teams there. We also discuss things like studying abroad, living on campus and other activities available at that university or college.\r\n\r\nThe students at my school really enjoy seeing the pennants up in the cafeteria and get very excited about them. Students' interests have been peaked by this project and we plan to continue it for many years to come. We've begun adding things like videos of alumni who are friends and family members to tell about their own college experiences at the college of the week. \r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, I believe that we are opening the door for students at my school to see the possibility that lies ahead for them.
