One of the most impactful additions has been our new calm down corner, which gives students a quiet, safe space to manage their emotions and refocus. We've also been using the recording buttons to help students listen to directions and practice independence during centers. These tools have made transitions smoother and have empowered students to take more ownership of their learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were thrilled! Many of them immediately wanted to try the calm down corner and explore the recording buttons. Their excitement quickly turned into curiosity and responsibility as they learned how to use these tools appropriately. It's been amazing to see how much pride they take in caring for the materials and using them to help themselves and their classmates.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll continue building on these routines by incorporating the resources into more daily lessons and activities. Students will use the recording buttons during literacy and math centers to guide them step-by-step through tasks, and the calm down corner will remain a key part of our classroom community.
