I've created this project in an attempt to reduce the chances of my students (as well as myself) contracting the COVID-19 virus. This is a time when students' health and well-being must come before tackling academic learning. We need to take every precaution possible to keep our students healthy. I believe that an air purifier will help eliminate the spread of viruses and germs in our classroom. HEPA air purifiers will have long-term benefits for classrooms beyond the pandemic as they improve the overall air quality and remove many allergens that negatively impact individuals with allergies, asthma, and other respiratory issues. An air purifier will not replace the effects of masks, social distancing, and good hand washing practice. The purifier will help us keep our students safe and healthy. Any help that can be contributed to keeping our students healthy is greatly appreciated.
