My students were incredibly excited when the materials arrived. As soon as we opened the boxes, they immediately started asking questions about how airplanes stay in the air for long periods of time and what affects a plane's ability to fly longer distances. We have been using the resources to explore the science of flight, focusing on concepts like lift, drag, thrust, and endurance. One of our favorite moments was when students worked in small groups to design and test their own paper aircraft models, adjusting wings and weight to see which designs could stay in the air the longest.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their reactions were priceless. Many of them had never thought deeply about the engineering behind airplanes, and the hands-on materials instantly sparked curiosity. They were eager to experiment and loved comparing results with their classmates. The excitement in the room made our lesson feel more like a real engineering lab than a typical classroom activity.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue building on what they've learned by improving their aircraft designs and recording their test results. They will analyze what changes helped improve flight endurance and explain the science behind their results. This project will help them practice problem-solving, teamwork, and scientific thinking. Their glider flew straighter than any of their earlier attempts, and the entire group celebrated the success your donation made possible.\r\n\r\nWhen the super glue arrived, students were genuinely excited. Many said, \"Now we can finally build real prototypes!\" They immediately recognized how this material would help them take their designs to the next level, and their confidence and enthusiasm grew as they began constructing sturdier, more accurate models.\r\n\r\nOur next steps include flight-testing each glider, recording data, and making iterative improvements based on their results.
