Flexible seating options will allow students to make the choices that work best for them and work in comfortable environment. During lab stations, they rotate through marked stations in the classroom as they complete parts to a lab assistant. Currently my students are not able to sit at all the lab stations, as I only have chairs which will not reach the height of the lab tables or counters. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. When my students have to stand at the tables, they get fidgety and tired - especially towards the end of the day! The product that I have selected will help my students by giving them the option to sit while viewing cells through a microscope, calculating the mass of various objects, or even working in cooperative learning groups! These stools are adjustable, lightweight and can be easily used in many areas of the classroom. They are made of durable material to last for many years. I strive to give my students the most engaging, safe, and comfortable learning environment that I can!
