A setter is a vital position in the game of volleyball. Similar to a quarterback in the game of football, a setter is a leader on the court. Not only must a setter call plays and follow-through to make them happen, but she must also make quick decisions and support her teammates in every aspect of the game. The Mikasa MGV500 Heavy Weight Volleyball is a great tool to help our setters train for their time spent on the court. These volleyball are the same size as a standard volleyball, but weigh more than your typical game ball. By increasing the weight of the ball, setters are able to practice their form and build strength in executing their sets. Not only will these heavy weight balls be used to practice offensive plays, but they will also be a great tool for the conditioning and training of our athletes.
