When the students first walked in and saw the new chairs, they were immediately excited—big smiles, a little bouncing, and lots of comments about how much they love the color! It didn't take long for them to understand that these chairs help them get their wiggles out while still staying focused. During lessons, I've already noticed that students who typically struggle to sit still are more engaged and able to participate for longer periods.\r\n\r\nWe're using these chairs all throughout the day, and they've made a big difference in helping students stay in their own space during lessons while also keeping all four feet of the chairs safely on the floor. The built-in movement gives them an outlet without disrupting learning, creating a calmer, more focused classroom environment. Next, we're continuing to build on this by increasing stamina during longer activities and helping students become more aware of how movement supports their learning.
