There was a lot of interest in the event from the families of our district's elementary students. We had approximately 200 individuals who were planning to attend that evening. Family game night was held at the school and we welcomed 38 families, 128 individuals, that came out to take part last Thursday.\r\n\r\nThose 38 families entered our school's gymnasium throughout the evening and had a number of games to choose from, thanks to your generous donations that helped to fund my project. At least 10 tables were dressed with colorful tablecloths and each table offered a variety of board games, card games, and puzzles for families to play. \r\n\r\nI was pleased to see so many of our families take time out of their busy schedules to attend the event. It was exciting to see parents, grandparents, etc. come together to spend time playing games with one another and to make memories that will last a lifetime. The evening also offered an opportunity for different families to meet and interact with one another. All of those who were in attendance seemed to enjoy themselves. \r\n\r\nIn addition to playing games, families that attended Family Game Night had an opportunity to sit down and enjoy a free slice of pizza, chips, and a drink in the cafeteria. While eating, many joined in a game of Tic-Tac-Toe or Hangman that could be found on the tables.\r\n\r\nFinally, approximately 12 students left that evening with a new game to take home and enjoy. Each family got to put their name into a drawing for their choice of a new game.\r\n\r\nFamily Game Night was a success and we already plan on making it an annual event. The success of this event could not have been possible if it weren't for your generosity and commitment to supporting our efforts to bring families together. Thank you again. Your donations were greatly appreciated.","fullyFundedDate":1736255488124,"projectUrl":"project/its-game-night-bringing-families-toge/8771674/","projectTitle":"It's Game Night!
