When we have odd numbers at practice, the girls are able to work with the grappling dummy to continue their training with no downtime. They even gave him a name- Franklin like Franklin the turtle from their preschool days. \r\nThe jump ropes and resistance bands have added to our conditioning training. These have been a great asset when we work in our room with no padding. Padding is essential to staying safe and if don't have that we can work on conditioning. Wrestling is 6 minutes of continuous movement. In order to be ready for a match, they have to be it great cardiovascular condition. The resistance bands and jump ropes have helped with that. \r\nThe compression shirts have helped boost confidence during matches. They no longer have to worry about coming out of their singlets. \r\nThese materials have helped us get a leg up and to be ready for anything that wrestling throws at us. And wrestling will help these ladies be ready for anything that life throws at them.
