The students have thoroughly enjoyed using our new whiteboards, markers, and erasers. They have been working hard on diagramming complex processes such as photosynthesis and cellular respiration, DNA mutations, and protein synthesis. \r\n\r\nThe ability for the students to draw out their thinking, show their understanding and communicate their ideas on a surface that they can erase, has been an absolute game changer in their learning. They are not afraid to make mistakes, knowing that they can always revise their model based on feedback that they receive from their peers as well as myself. \r\n\r\nThe deepening of the level of understanding that my students are experiencing through their collaboration is absolutely remarkable. I see students being more confident in sharing their ideas, learning from one another, and finding their love for science and Biology!
