I get to work with some of the best kids at an amazing school that I absolutely love! My students are freshmen within a quickly growing transient area. With the large increase in enrollment that the school has experienced over the last few years, funds and classroom space are becoming a challenge to obtain. I try to provide an atmosphere that makes learning fun as much as I can. As an English teacher, I promote a positive reading atmosphere since, let's face it, I sadly hear many kids say that they don't particularly enjoy reading. Coming up with creative projects to go along with reading have helped me promote this positive reading atmosphere the most! I win them over with making reading a book fun! I have a classroom where effort is rewarded and accomplishments are celebrated! Go Sharks!
