When I told the students they had new cool stickers coming their way, they were super excited. The graphic stickers are a huge motivator to keep up the good work they are doing during their reading and writing assignments. They get the work completed because they know that cool sticker is on it's way to them.\r\n The post it anchor chart paper is a lifesaver for both the students and I. The students use it in math centers to solve their math problem on the wall since it sticks well. I have been able to post information they could refer to quickly on the math, science and reading walls with ease. Before the post it anchor chart paper I found myself tearing away at the other spiral type paper which took too much valuable time during instruction. \r\n Lastly, the wonderful popcorn used as an incentive for good grades has had them smiling big. We thank you very much for all your support in helping us move through first grade with motivation.","fullyFundedDate":1740696917123,"projectUrl":"project/moving-through-lessons-with-motivation/9090343/","projectTitle":"Moving Through Lessons With Motivation","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Santos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9829099_orig.png?crop=256,256,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1731079492306","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9829099"},{"teacherId":632190,"projectId":8519843,"letterContent":"The donations given to my campus made a great impact. We have anywhere from 5-10 students that may have an accident daily that requires them to change their underwear or socks. Sometimes it's a milk spill in lunch or they could not get their pants unbutton fast enough. Although we ask parents to keep an extra pair of underwear in the students backpacks, not all of them honor our request. I made the donations available in the nurse office so they can change quickly and return to learning in class.","fullyFundedDate":1732075913195,"projectUrl":"project/my-bottoms-been-saved-charmin-bear/8519843/","projectTitle":"\"My Bottom's Been Saved\" -Charmin Bear","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. McDonald","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp632190_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1510333695032","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/amcdonald"},{"teacherId":9829099,"projectId":8925604,"letterContent":"We are so excited to have the chair organizers. They keep all the students journals in one accessible place. This has greatly impacted the transition from one lesson to the next. It works so well for my classroom design of tables and chairs. This design and organization method allows for more group work and collaboration among the students.\r\n Before we had the chair organizers and table caddies, we lost valuable time getting our journals and supplies. Now, students turn around and pull out their subject journal and go straight to work. They love it! They tell me they like to work. At this age I understand they need to stay busy and time wasted is a recipe for behavior problems. Behavior has greatly improved. That's a huge plus for me as a 1st year teacher! I can't thank my donors enough. Thank you thank you. \r\nWe look forward to having a successful finish in bilingual first grade.
