We are SUPER second grade students at Sneed Elementary in Alief ISD. The demographics on this campus is 85% free and reduced lunch. My class is diverse and are English Language Learners. Many of my students do not have a good grasp on the English language. Last year, my class did a lot of hands-on projects and we kept an interactive notebook. Now, we are trying to keep up with Texas State Standards on Technology and have limited access to computers in the classroom. This year I would like to have my students work in cooperative learning groups doing research projects in Science. Technology would greatly help my students especially those who struggle with English on the research projects.
