When students learned what could complete a circuit they began to explore. Some necklaces and earrings worked as well as table legs and zippers.\r\n\r\nThen they began to explore the site where completing the circuit could allow them to play the bongo drums, play a game or even learn to play the piano. They wanted to learn to play Happy Birthday and by the time class ended there were a few rounds being played.\r\n\r\nJust exploring has been fun. Students can't wait until next year when they get to devise other ways to utilize Makey-Makey in order to invent. My students have learned coping skills and advocated for themselves when they need a break. The students are drawn to use them specifically to solve math problems along many other uses.\r\n\r\nThe simplicity of the boards makes them a favorite in our classroom, as there are minimal directions needed to get started.
