The use of calculators for students on an IEP is important to their success. The calculator helps them to master concepts without worrying about computation accuracy. Instead they can focus on leaning the procedure. Fraction concepts can be difficult for students to grasp. Fraction tiles and dry erase boards make learning more hands on and engaging for students. Students enjoy solving problems on dry erase boards and comparing with classmates. Headphones are a necessary item for students to use with our online learning programs that target individualized skills for each student.
