The materials that were added were a welcomed addition to this space. Students manipulate the bendable items and draw on the erasable note pads. They are truly enjoying the topics and learning with each issue. Students work on comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary which assists with their continued growth in reading skills.\r\n\r\nEach student brings home their copy once we are finished in class with various activities that are connected to the issue. They can share their reading and learning then with their parents and family. Some students choose to place them in clear protector and save them in a binder to read all year long.\r\n\r\nWe will continue to use these wonderful magazines throughout our year in class. I am looking forward to the months ahead as we continue to learn about more interesting topics.
