Students are excited to read the "Sunshine State Readers Award Books" each year. Often, they are the first books checked out in the main library of our school. Having these books in the classroom is such a treat! Rewards are given in the classroom and school for reading these books. Setting the stage in your library with lots of popular choices and a cozy place to read is definitely the way to go! A 40 book challenge reading different genres will surely motivate students especially when they can win awards along the way! SSYRA books are needed each year to keep up with the most current awarded books.
