Your investment has made a lasting impact on our first through fifth grade students. We are deeply grateful for you commitment to educational equity and opportunity. \r\n\r\nAs a result of your support, I was able to purchase high quality, research based instructional materials that directly address the diverse needs of our elementary learners. These resources enhance vocabulary development, reading comprehension, writing skills, and oral language proficiency. Most importantly, they allow instruction to be more engaging, culturally responsive, and accessible for students at varying levels of English proficiency. \r\n\r\nFor many of our students, learning English is more than an academic goal. It is a bridge to confidence, belonging, and full participation in school. The materials made possible through your donation help create a classroom environment where students feel supported, understood, and empowered to take risks in their learning. With these tools, students are better able to express their ideas, connect with peers and build the foundational skills they need for long term academic success. By reaching learners from first through fifth grade, your gift helps build a strong foundation early while also supporting continued growth as students progress through elementary school, and will benefit students for years to come. \r\n\r\nThank you for your partnership and generosity to ensure that every student, regardless of language background has access to the tools and instruction they need to thrive. I teach in an inclusion classroom where many students need to move while learning, and the new resources have made a powerful difference in how my students engage each day.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new small-group reading books and fidget stools, their excitement was immediate. They were especially thrilled about the fidget stools — many couldn't wait to try them! These stools are now used throughout all classroom activities during the day, including reading, writing, and group discussions. Because we currently have only four, I rotate which students can use them and when. Even with limited access, the impact has been incredible. The stools have helped students focus, regulate their bodies, and stay engaged in learning. Due to their success, I will be looking into getting more in the near future.\r\n\r\nThe new reading materials have also been a huge success. Students are using them daily during small-group instruction, and their enthusiasm for reading has grown significantly. We have already seen improvement in our national reading scores, and students are proud of their progress. They are more confident, motivated, and excited to participate in lessons.\r\n\r\nNext, students will continue building their reading skills through guided small groups, comprehension practice, and collaborative discussions using these materials. With the support of these resources, they are developing stronger reading foundations while learning in a way that meets their individual needs.\r\n\r\nIf it were not for your generous donations, many of these fifth graders would not feel this excited about learning. Spanish books are used during Spanish literacy instruction to promote language development, while the social-emotional resources help students build self-awareness and emotional regulation skills through guided discussions and activities.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials were first introduced, students responded with enthusiasm and curiosity. They were eager to explore the new books, actively engaged with the math tools, and showed genuine interest in the materials designed to help them understand and manage their emotions. This initial excitement led to increased participation and focus across subject areas.\r\n\r\nThanks to the generosity of our donors, students now have access to resources that support both academic achievement and social-emotional growth. It has been amazing to see students choosing to read independently and showing increased confidence and interest in reading. In math, the supplies have been especially helpful—particularly the number lines. Being able to manipulate the number lines hands-on and also use the larger visual number line for whole-class instruction has helped students better understand math concepts.\r\n\r\nThe math games, such as dominoes and the addition and subtraction games, have kept students highly engaged and motivated to practice their skills. Learning through games has made math more enjoyable and has encouraged collaboration and problem-solving. Moving forward, students will continue using these materials as part of our daily reading and math lessons, building stronger foundational skills and confidence. Overall, all of the materials have been extremely beneficial, and we are so grateful to our donors for helping create an engaging, supportive learning environment for our students.","fullyFundedDate":1760394261115,"projectUrl":"project/bilingual-brilliance-spanish-and-math-f/9823599/","projectTitle":"Bilingual Brilliance: Spanish and Math Fun for All!","teacherDisplayName":"Srta.
