I am privileged to teach 25 energetic, enthusiastic, and eager little learners with big dreams in my First Grade classroom. 98 percent of students at the Title I school where I teach receive free breakfast and lunch in addition to the food pantry we run for our families. Many of our students struggle to secure what most consider necessities. Despite many personal challenges, my students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day. It is my goal to make my classroom their home away from home. I seek to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment, where each child receives the support they need to achieve their dreams. They deserve the best. Won't you help brighten the future of these awesome young scholars?
