Watching them passionately debate property values and sign a formal trade agreement in English was an extraordinary showcase of purposeful language learning in action. \r\nWhen my students first saw the brand-new boxes stacked in our room, their eyes lit up with instant excitement and curiosity. While a few recognized the classic board game, for many of my multilingual learners, it was their very first time handling the tokens, property cards, and play money. They were thrilled to unbox the components, set up the boards, and take ownership of their learning experience. That initial wave of enthusiasm broke down the anxiety often associated with complex financial topics and motivated every single student to participate with confidence. \r\nBuilding on this momentum, our students are now completing the final reflective phase of our project. Our Level 3 students are filling out \"Financial Storyboards\" using past-tense verbs (such as bought, paid, and collected) to summarize their final net worth, while our Level 4 students are writing investor strategy reports and delivering 1-minute oral briefings to their table groups.
