My goal is to Infuse geography into my history using visual literacy and the principles of STEM. I really need the atlases so that students can see and learn about the growth of our nation throughout the years. Using the atlases will help students with problem solving skills, too. For example, they can decide where they would've picked to build homes as colonists, as pioneers, or as homesteads. Then, I would have them design and sketch their ideas in the notebooks in groups, then create their final drafts with the drawing paper, rulers, and colored pencils. I would also love for them to compare past and present housing and transportation, with the goal of them creating design for what they think our homes and cars well look like in the future. I would also love to have the poster paper so students can print out their designs and they can be displayed in the classroom for all to see. Please support my students! My students need your help to receive the supplies they need to compare the past to the present and plan for the future.
