Students feel in charge of their success and work hard to practice using these supplies. We also use these whiteboards to complete unit review and students will write down their answers and then share with the class.\r\n\r\nWe have also used our large magnetic graph to demonstrate linear functions for our students. We now have two large graphs and can engage students in activities where they work as a team to complete a systems of equations problem or figure out the point of intersection. The students enjoy these tactile activities when they can move around and collaborate with their peers.\r\n\r\nWe are able to offer these activities because of your generosity and support for our classroom. While the weather might not feel like winter, the sun setting at 4:30 definitely impacts students sense of time and sleep.\r\n\r\nIn addition, we have some projects coming up where students will be able to use the play dough to create vocabulary terms, landscape examples and letters, as a means to increasing their fluency with the English language.
