My students come from a variety of ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Eighty-three percent of the students come from low-income families and rely on our high school to provide them with all their educational and learning experiences. Our 4-year choir program provides training and music experiences that would not otherwise be available to them. My students are incredibly talented and are very determined to develop their voices. I see improvement every day in their musical abilities, that is the result of their hard work and dedication. Currently, the 50 students in my program have committed to spending 4 years in our budding choral program. During this time, they will grow in singing technique and musicality through the many amazing experiences that generous philanthropists such as you make possible. Your contributions will enable us to revitalize this vocal program by providing essential equipment and materials.
