Being back in person this year has just been so important for students and teachers. Since the beginning of the school year in math, my co-teacher and I have provided our students with personal whiteboards and dry erase markers, so they can experiment with numbers and operations, make mistakes as they work through challenges (and easily erase/correct them!), and ultimately demonstrate their knowledge! In order for students to achieve as highly as possible, their teachers need to be as prepared as possible. As a teacher, my goal is to ensure my students have access to everything they need to be successful. Our classroom would greatly benefit from having a printer (along with ink and paper), so we can ensure we have all the materials students need immediately (without having to run down two flights of stairs to use the school copier!). This will ensure teaching and learning is holistic and seamless.
