We are a Title I school where a high percentage of poverty means buying high-quality school supplies is not always possible for many of our families. Providing headphones at school ensures that every student has equal access to digital learning tools and instructional programs.\r\nMany of our technology programs require students to listen carefully to directions, instructions, and modeled examples. Without headphones, it was difficult for students to hear clearly and stay focused, especially in a classroom environment where multiple devices may be in use at the same time. Many students did not have headphones or the low quality headphones were not lasting long enough for daily use. The headphones allow students to fully engage with literacy, math, and intervention programs without distractions from surrounding noise.\r\nAs a result, students are able to work more independently, follow directions accurately, and remain focused on their learning tasks. These headphones have helped create a more productive and supportive learning environment where all students can access technology-based instruction and practice essential academic skills. We are grateful for this support, which has made a direct and positive impact on our students' ability to learn and succeed.","fullyFundedDate":1769191978373,"projectUrl":"project/all-ears-on-learning/10019878/","projectTitle":"All Ears on Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Herscher","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10404158_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y293&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768320525525","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10404158"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_5975","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":385,"numTeachers":42,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":69,"percentWhite":16,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"9.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":34.1,"schoolId":5975,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Savannah Grove Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Savannah Grove Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-carolina/florence-school-district-1/savannah-grove-elementary-school/5975"}
