With COVID and quarantine, our students are limited with having access to books. With schools and libraries closed at this time, many students do not have books that will allow them to be successful in practicing reading skills necessary for improvement. Little libraries make books available to all! My project will fund a little library with books. My little library will contain books in a variety of levels and interests for kindergarten through sixth grade. It will be easily accessible for parents and students. They will be able to select and return books as needed. Reading is key to making progress in school, as well as life. In order to make gains, students need books that will engage and expand their imagination. This access will encourage lifelong learning. Every child deserves the opportunity to read and to grow their love of literature!
