Your contribution allows us to provide multiple copies of each title, giving more students the chance to participate fully and experience these outstanding stories.\r\n\r\nOur reading challenge is a beloved tradition that inspires students to read all 20 nominated books throughout the school year. After finishing each book, students meet with a \"book expert\" — a staff member who chats with them about the story, characters, and themes. When students can confidently discuss the book, they earn a special brag tag featuring that book's cover. By the end of the year, many students proudly collect all 20!\r\n\r\nThis program not only motivates children to read widely, but it also builds their confidence in speaking about books, strengthens comprehension, and fosters meaningful connections with our school staff. Because of your kindness, my students and I received a mobile desk, mobile drawers, a utility cart, and chair pockets that have already transformed the way we learn and stay organized.\r\n\r\n How we're using the new resources\r\nThe mobile desk and drawers give me the flexibility to move around the classroom with everything I need at my fingertips—whether I'm pulling a small group to the carpet, checking in with students at their seats, or leading a center activity. The utility cart now holds our math manipulatives and literacy games, which students can roll out during station time. And the chair pockets have been a game changer—students keep their books, journals, and supplies neatly stored right at their seats. This has helped reduce clutter and transition time, giving us more minutes for meaningful learning.\r\n One of my favorite moments was when we used the cart and chair pockets during a reading project. Students were able to quickly grab their journals from their chair pockets, roll the cart of books to their tables, and dive into buddy reading. I overheard one student whisper to another, \"This is like having our own little library!\" Moments like that remind me how much your support enriches their learning experience.\r\n The day the materials arrived, my students' eyes lit up. They were thrilled to have their own personal chair pockets and couldn't wait to organize their things. Several said, \"Now I won't lose my pencil!\"—a small but powerful change in their daily routine.\r\n\r\n\r\n We're currently working on building strong writing habits, and these new resources are helping us stay focused and organized as we draft stories, edit, and share our work. Having supplies and journals close by keeps the momentum going, and the mobile desk makes it easy for me to sit right next to a student and provide immediate feedback.\r\n\r\n Thank you again for believing in us.
