When the materials arrived, students were immediately curious and excited, especially about the magnetic activities and giant word-building dice. \r\n\r\nWe are using these resources during small-group intervention to explicitly teach prefixes, suffixes, root meanings, and strategies for figuring out unfamiliar words. Students are building new words with magnets, rolling the activity dice to create silly (and memorable!) combinations, and discussing how word parts change meaning. These lessons are helping students not only expand their vocabulary, but also become more independent readers who can break down complex words instead of skipping over them.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, I'm able to provide more engaging, structured, and evidence-based instruction that directly supports students' classroom learning and IEP goals. When students first saw the new folder games, dry erase dots, and colorful markers, they were immediately excited to participate. Several students who are typically hesitant to speak began volunteering answers, taking turns more eagerly, and using new vocabulary in spontaneous ways. One of my students proudly said, \"I am getting so good at this game!\" which is exactly the kind of confidence I hope to instill in my students. \r\n\r\nWe are using these materials daily across preschool through fifth grade. Students are practicing vocabulary, sentence formulation, story elements, and social communication through structured language games that promote collaboration and carryover. The new markers have been especially helpful for incorporating written expression into sessions—students are mapping out ideas, answering questions, and visually organizing their thoughts, which strengthens both comprehension and expressive language. The literature teaching charts are supporting richer discussions during book-based lessons, helping students connect language skills to classroom expectations.\r\n\r\nOur next steps include expanding these strategies across more classroom-based activities, supporting generalization of skills beyond the therapy room, and continuing to build students' confidence as communicators. My students love seeing their materials neatly arranged and easily accessible, and I've noticed a positive impact on their focus and independence.
