The items on my list will help my students develop an understanding of the different types of animals. Learning will occur by using exposure to the types of animals using literacy, manipulates and art. The students will work on identifying animals, and begin to learn about each animal individually. The students will also work on their fine motor skills by writing and drawing about the different types animals they have learned about. It is my hope that by the end of this theme, the students will be able to accurately identify and describe different types of animals from all around the world!
