Students have been enjoying being able to sit quietly on the floor to do their independent work. They've also been pulling up wobble seats to sit together during partner time. Our friends with tippy-tappy feet have the wobble seats they can put on the floor in front of them to bounce their toes without distracting their classmates.\r\n\r\nWe are wiggly! We want to spread out! But throughout all of that, we still want to learn. These flex seats are giving my students choices for how they will best learn and work, and we could not have done it without you.","fullyFundedDate":1743774010261,"projectUrl":"project/flex-seats-to-flex-our-brains/9108830/","projectTitle":"Flex Seats to Flex Our Brains","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Landau","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4110581_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1480448839180","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/s-landau"},{"teacherId":9228725,"projectId":8577052,"letterContent":"The math manipulatives funded through this project have made a tremendous difference in how my students understand and engage with math. Being able to physically move, group, and visualize numbers helped make abstract concepts—like place value, fractions, and multiplication—much more concrete and accessible. Students who previously felt overwhelmed by numbers were suddenly excited to explore, build, and explain their thinking using hands-on tools. These manipulatives turned math into something they could see and touch, not just something on a worksheet.\r\n\r\nHaving these materials also supported the wide range of learning styles in my classroom. Visual and kinesthetic learners, in particular, showed significant improvement in their confidence and ability to solve problems independently. The manipulatives made it easier for all students to participate in math conversations, justify their reasoning, and take risks without fear of getting the \"wrong\" answer. Thanks to your support, math time has become one of the most interactive and joyful parts of our day!","fullyFundedDate":1727462880747,"projectUrl":"project/marvelous-mathemagicians/8577052/","projectTitle":"Marvelous Mathemagicians","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kataria","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9228725_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754363261688","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-kataria"},{"teacherId":245870,"projectId":8576215,"letterContent":"I would like to take some time right now to thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. When I told my students that the project for social emotional learning had been funded they were very excited, but it wasn't until all the boxes came that they really jumped out of their seats! Let's start with the games. They really love those!! Honestly kids need to learn how to play checkers in my opinion. About half the class knew how to play checkers and the other half did not, so it was a great opportunity for my friends to teach and learn from each other. \r\n\r\nMy friends also really enjoy the science and math games and manipulatives too. It's really great when I can hear students teaching each other or helping each other and explaining how to play a game or follow the instructions.\r\nWhen students model for each other how to play games or problem solve, it really develops confidence and that is just so crucial. Overhearing my students taking turns, kindly correcting each other's mistakes and offering to help just warms my heart!\r\n\r\nThank you so much for valuing education.
