Your support recently made a direct impact on our student group, Together 4 Change, and our efforts to build connection and belonging across our homeroom classes.\r\n\r\nThis past Monday, we hosted a school-wide 'Mad Libs' challenge. We asked homerooms to collaborate to complete a story together, with the winning entries earning a pizza party. This project was born out of deep conversations within our student group about the challenges students face when trying to connect with peers they don't know well. The students wanted to create low-stakes, fun activities that would act as a bridge for these conversations, helping everyone feel a greater sense of belonging in our school community.\r\n\r\nThe kids had such a blast completing their stories, and your candy contribution was the perfect way to reward their participation and effort.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for your support in making these moments of connection possible. We are already looking forward to planning more activities like this next year, and we are thrilled to have you as part of our community.","fullyFundedDate":1764690534914,"projectUrl":"project/halloween-hangout-in-academic-lab/9689360/","projectTitle":"Halloween Hangout In Academic Lab","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kempa","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10243826_orig.jpg?crop=432,432,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757102983064","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10243826"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_59777","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1196,"numTeachers":80,"percentFrplEligible":18,"percentAsian":3,"percentBlack":7,"percentWhite":80,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"15.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":70.5,"schoolId":59777,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Rockwood Summit High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Rockwood Summit High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/missouri/rockwood-school-district-r6/rockwood-summit-high-school/59777"}
