In order to prepare my students for the job force, they need opportunities to practice skills such as sorting, counting, and matching. They can take these skills and transfer them to real life situations later in life. These task boxes will allow them that hands on opportunity. In addition, my students will be able to explore areas they are strong in and provide practice for skills they are struggling with. As a brand new classroom just starting our functional program, we are blazing a trail for other students yet to come! There are endless opportunities for our students- we just need to get the materials for them to show what they are capable of! Please help my students by providing a variety of opportunities to learn job skills they will be able to utilize in the future.
