These students have been able to understand the lesson so much better! \r\n\r\nAlso, there are audio features on other websites and coding platforms that we have now been able to utilize. My students have loved the cushions, the new writing and cutting materials, and the elastic bands for their chairs. In our classroom we have used the cushions in many different instances, my students love to use them to do their iPad work during centers on the carpet and we have used them for fun seating for rewards in class! The pencils and scissors are always a necessity and they are used everyday, especially for crafts! The elastic bands for the chairs are used for a few of the students in my class but they are very effective and the students have really enjoyed having them to keep their focus during learning. We are starting to use the short vowel books during centers and my students really like the colorful pictures and the fun readings they get to do. It is definitely something they look forward to during centers!\r\n\r\nWhen I introduced the new materials to my students they were very excited and wanted to use all of it that day. We used the cushions the first day and the students were very exited and loved having a new item that was comfy and we could use daily during centers. Right now we have so many fun things to do with all of the items we received. In the future, I will be continuing to create a comfortable and fun learning environment that includes every single student. Using these handmade keyboards of Play-Doh, students were amazed when they were able to tap on a key and see and hear the response on their computer screen.
