I am about to graduate from my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with concentrations and minors in Spanish and English as a New Language. I have been hired by the district I am student teaching in to teach 6th grade in the fall. I am thrilled at this opportunity to learn and grow as an educator, but I am nervous about setting up my first classroom and providing my students with as much as possible so they can be successful. Because of the area and district, the students come to school with the bare necessities. Whiteboards are on every single teacher's list for use in the classroom and finding ones that are good quality, will last, and will be useful in the classroom and potentially at home is on everyone's mind. KleenSlates are created by educators for use in the classroom. They have a handle at the bottom so students can proudly hold up their response to share with the teacher and the class. They come with interchangeable templates so the students can use them for writing sentences, responses, or even graphing during math lessons. They are the perfect formative assessment tool for students and teachers.
