The students will have to have six feet distance from the teacher at all times and the use of a document camera to project things such as books, will make it easier for the students to all see. Since books will have to be out of circulation after a student touches it for two weeks, the document camera will allow the teacher to show multiple students at once without having it gone for two weeks. The document camera will also be able to be used from my home if the situation of remote learning from home is made. This will allow the students to see the book that we are all reading together without me having to hold it up on the camera each time. The document camera and the clicker will come to good use while in school with social distancing as well as remotely from home. The clicker will come in handy so that I can step away from the computer and still be able to click through power points, or projects online so that all students can see no matter where I will be in the room with them. The use of these tools will provide years of instruction down the road for many students.
