We have only begun using the button machine to make art and it has already made an impact. So far one class has made magnets of their artwork. The students designed 2 - 3 concepts on a piece of paper. Students were asked to choose one design, and re-create it on the precut button paper. Students were given a variety of art supplies to choose from (markers, pastels, tempera paint sticks). By the end of the class period everyone had a personalized magnet to take home. \r\n\r\nWith these wonderful supplies I can continue to do this project with other students. I have made sure to attach photos of the magnets the 5th graders made! They were so proud of their work, and excited to be able to take the art home with them.
